Everything is Fine...

I could'a sworn the Cap'n said "port"...
After three nights suffering from NES*, I am fit to be tied.

I feel like I've been run onto the rocks...

Rode hard and put away wet...

- Insert your own euphemism/phrase for being very tired/exhausted here -

That's all I have right now...

Oh heck, why not?

Here's an airplane!

Ya never know, this could well be a preview of things to come. Round about Friday or so...

* NES = Not enough sleep
Oh, and 25 Shrute bucks to the reader who can identify the ship and the circumstances in the lead-in photo!

    1. You nailed it Cajun.

Ah yes, NES. An old acquaintance, I wish he'd hang out somewhere else!

    2. I served with a guy from Nehalem, OR so I'd seen the picture before. His grandfather had something to do with getting the people off. I remembered it because it was so striking with the sails still set!

    3. I know what you mean about the sails. That's what caught my eye about the photo.

  2. The wreck of the Hesperus? I have no idea. I just know My Mom used to tell me, every so often after I was out playing, that I looked like said wreck, so I figured I'd take a shot. Get some sleep!

    1. I like your answer, but the Old NFO got it right.

Sad wreck, I'm guessing you know exactly what I mean. (Amazing how smart our Moms are...)

    1. Thought that would keep the multitude content for a day or so. (Of course now I have to deliver!)

  4. I'm not one to flog products of any sort but this stuff has worked for me. I still take it, mainly coz I find it gives me some pretty entertaining dreams. Nothing to fear, just good solid entertainment. ;-)

    1. Heh. Sounds like Chantix. The dreams started out weird and then got, as you said, "entertaining".

I may give that stuff a shot if it gets worse. For me this sort of thing is cyclical.

  5. Sorry I'm not much help. Work and home is ganging up on me and to top it all off, my mother-in-law arrives tomorrow. I'll put some mediocre effort into my creative writing at some point soon.

    1. Don't worry about it Tuna. I've got material, just finding the time to properly write it up has proved challenging lately.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
