Spring in Little Rhody

(Sakura) Our cherry trees are in full blossom.
Ah, spring.

I know, I know. I kind of whined about cutting the grass last weekend. While not one of my favorite activities, it does get me out of the house for a couple of hours.

And Saturday was gorgeous. Sunny, temperatures in the 60s (which I like) and just enough of a breeze to keep the air nice and fresh.

The koi are pleased that the winter is over.

Spring is here.

The tulips are in bloom.

All is well at Chez Sarge. Another winter has passed, spring is in full swing, the heat of summer, while on the horizon, isn't upon us just yet.

We are grateful.

Sunday, it's off to Mystic, to revisit the Harp and Hound. To see old and cherished friends. Some for the first time in person. Many of you will understand, some of you won't. And that's okay.

I am content with my lot in life. The Lord has been good to me.

  1. Dogwoods were in bloom down here about a month ago. Very pretty. But we've had less than an inch of rain so far this year, so summer is going to be a bear.

    1. I remember the dogwoods from Colorado. Used to seeing them lining the creek beds out on the plains. Very pretty.

    1. The Missus Herself gets all the credit for that. It was her vision and hard work that made all that come to pass.

I merely wielded a shovel and lifted the heavy things. It certainly is pleasant.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
Can't be nice, go somewhere else...
