Legos

(Source)
When The Naviguessor was a lad, he was a huge fan of Legos. He would get them for Christmas, for birthdays, and he never seemed to want anything else. Well, until video games were invented. (He played them as a kid, now, as an adult, he creates them. Makes some serious coin doing so as well.)

When you're a Dad, and your kids like Legos, well, you tend to like them too. I know I did. I still do. When I visit the grandkids, sometimes they let me play with their Legos.

Sometimes.

But this guy takes Legos to a whole new level.

Man, where can I get that Lego set?

  1. Never like them, especially in the middle of the night.

    1. Well, that can be a problem.

When you have a few minutes, Google "caltrop."

    2. Interestingly, the second result was a Wikipedia article describing a weapon designed to slow the movement of humans and animals. The number one result was a link to caltrop.com. A site that provides technical services to assist in the planning of transportation modes for the state of California.

      Coincidence? I think not!

I have two sons and it was Legos and Transformers.
    Sometimes they can draw blood!!!!!!!!
That being said, the levels of Lego art and animation these days are incredible.

    1. Transformers were also popular with the progeny.

It amazes me what you can do with Legos. With enough money and time...

  3. I didn’t have any when I was a kid.
Had Lincoln Logs, Erector Set, Tinker Toys, and some other plastic block thing.
I am thinking Legos might be fun... except in the middle of the night.

(Particularly liked it when he called feet, "leg hands.")

  5. www-brickarms@com/weapons.php

This is just one of the many accessory manufacturers for Legos.

Overpriced geek stuff, and if I won the lottery there would be a special room in the underground bunker...

    1. I think I would need a similar room...
