You...Joeh, the procedure you described is correct. You have to break the stall, because the aircraft is technically not flying. The pulling away from the ground is what is causing the stall, and the falling toward the dirt. The spinning is from the yaw, that's not what's going to kill you. Hitting the dirt is. I'm not sure that balls were involved on my first spin ride, but the ability to keep my lunch was a good thing to have.juvathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09096708575138552532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684531976778247960.post-53177210930111293802016-08-12T08:46:39.422-07:002016-08-12T08:46:39.422-07:00Good to hear you have her back. Apparently in the early days of flying a spin was considered fatal with no way out until someone decided that to get out of a spin you need to do the exact opposite of what your brain tells you to do, push the nose toward the ground instead of pulling up. Not sure how true all this is, but imagine the balls of the first guy that said "I'm going to put it in a spin on purpose...watch, I'll prove it!" Of course in those days and today any pilot needs balls or whatever is the lady equivalent.

Welcome back Missus, and best wishes on a speedy recovery from your procedure.joehhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08520161706680568508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684531976778247960.post-77368188273914449092016-08-12T07:01:47.821-07:002016-08-12T07:01:47.821-07:00Spin recovered.
