I Lost a Friend Today

John McPherson
Requiescant in pace
John, my good friend and my brother in Christ, was found dead this morning.

You were taken too soon my brother.

We will miss you so.

I offer prayers for his family and friends, especially for his son and daughter, whom he loved so much.

I will see you again John, in the sweet by-and-by.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
It is to weep...

    1. True and true.

      I told John's daughter that a lot of folks out here in the blogoverse were thinking of her and her brother. She appreciates that. She's not quite 18 and is one sharp kid. I don't know if I could bear up as well as she seems to be doing.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
