I mean it's been two whole weeks since we've seen them! (Yes, I'm kidding, I wanted to just stay there from Thanksgiving until shortly after New Year's Day but I was overruled. The Missus Herself had things that needed doing around Chez Sarge, so home we went.)
So today is a travel day, going by automotive conveyance as air travel around the holidays, any holiday really, is something to be avoided. I've been there, done that, don't really want to do it again but probably will when I'm too damned old to drive that far.
Sigh ...
Not sure how much content is going to be posted over the next couple of weeks, so bear with me. I mean it's the holidays, I plan to do as little as possible, other than play with Legos.
If I don't post for a while, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and enjoy yourselves with family and friends.

Traveling as you are the local news gave out that a third of Americans will be doing the same during this holiday season, safe travels Sarge. I'm guessing Roberto might be receiving a Lego set next week eh? Celebrate your retirement anniversary with Family Time.

ReplyDeleteRetired for one year... I'm celebrating that times 30! Have never regretted the decision, and have been able to enjoy all sorts of things without the annoying need to "work" for someone else (at least someone other than my spouse). I have kept busy, but as a leisurely self employed job doing what I wanted to do anyway. Make the most of it, we don't know how many days are ahead of us, only those passed by already.

DeleteMerry Christmas Sarge! As for getting old, consider the wonders of buying a Tesla with full self drive and just snoozing your way to your destinations down the road. I mean, it's not for me, I'm not old enough. :)
