There are dozens of aircraft being converted to fire fighting, and the hulks of donor airplanes. There is now a museum. <br />http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/14707Well Seasoned Foolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16670165728759453075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684531976778247960.post-77143336411453165992014-08-23T13:32:44.708-07:002014-08-23T13:32:44.708-07:00I just drove through all that country this week (S...I just drove through all that country this week (Sacramento to Portland and back again). The smoke was at it's worst between Mount Shasta and Yreka, and then again in central Oregon. Lots of CalFire people at the Black Bear Diner in Yreka where we stopped for lunch. Clearly there are several significant fires to keep the crews and their air support pretty busy.c w swansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02735507642689652780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684531976778247960.post-26901180418151965852014-08-23T12:24:04.711-07:002014-08-23T12:24:04.711-07:00Thanks!
