Crickets Chirping...

Where is everybody?
I am suffering from some sort of nasal, upper bronchial, nastiness. Hence the absolute lack of posting today. I will attempt to fall back to prepared positions, resupply, take on new recruits and regain my strength in order to re-enter the blogging lists tomorrow.

Until then, talk quietly among yourselves. At the end of the night, turn off the lights, lock the doors and proceed to your vehicles. No doubt I will be feeling better tomorrow.

In the meantime, pity me.

Wuss...

  1. Since you weren't here, we drank all your beer, watched pay-per-view on your TV, made a few long-distance calls on your phone and left. Had a great time, wish you'd been here.

    Get well soon.

    1. But, but, but...

Ah what the Hell, I'd have done the same.

  3. Poor baby, you just relax and get to feeling better.
Can I get you anything? Tylenol? Juice? Your balls?
    Men, sheesh.

    1. You had me feeling all warm and fuzzy there for a minute Angel. I should have known better.

    2. *hugs* Sorry. :-)
Once you've had a 9 lb 22 inch baby rip
through your uterus like tissue paper,
it's hard to summon sympathy for sniffles.

    3. Um yeah. I can see how that could be painful. Damn!

  4. Oh. And somebody left a mess behind the bar.

Damn, what in Hell is that anyway?

  6. Having just somehow survived a meeting with that dread gentleman, the bringer of discomfort, illness and loose bowels, I do feel your pain Sarge. Make sure you let your lovely bride know exactly hoe sick you are many times during the day. And night. They love that.

Get feeling better soon and if you see that guy please kick him dead in the posterior for the both of us. I've got a boot with his name written on it in some sort of odoriferous regurgital solution. I hate that guy!

    1. What sucks is my inability to play the sympathy card with the Missus Herself. As I'm "on the road" for a spell, I get to suffer in silence at my hotel.

      The maids seem sympathetic.

And I do recall you speaking of this (ahem) "gentleman".

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
Can't be nice, go somewhere else...
