And We're Off...

Blogging could be light, I'll report in as much as I can.

The Old AF Sarge and the Missus Herself are climbing to altitude, headed west. Off to the Land of the Fruit and Nut. We be California Bound!

On the Road Again!

  1. Well, you're not going to go far in that configuration anyway.
Have a great trip and try (hard) not to pick up any California politics.

    1. Well, I liked the picture, shortly after posting it I realized, "A pilot will notice something, shall we say, odd..."

      And you did.

  2. We'll keep a light on for ya.

O/T - why is it folks think all Californian are influenced by the clowns in the cities?

    1. That's because you California country folks in the Red counties are low-level and rather Normal. (<=== There's that word!) The freaks are much more fun to point and laugh at, right?

    2. I turn my back for a minute and Buck and Skip are at each other's throats.

I'm so proud of you guys. (Nobody normal 'round here!)

  3. Having family out there, I realize it's not ALL Californians. But it seems to me that the ratio of irrational to rational is tipping left at an ever increasing rate.

  6. Too bad the WSO wasn't stationed down here in Sandy Eggo- the place really grows on you. As for the fruits and nuts, I've always said the worst part about San Diego is that it's in California. Here's some music to listen to on your trip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgtVaVahwYY Not really relevant to your post other than some great scenery in the video, a Led Zepplin reference like your song above, and the name of your destination. Enjoy the grandkids, non-smokers get more time with them!

    1. Thanks Tuna.

      (Nice tune BTW!)

Odd you'd mention the non-smoker thing. I still look for a place to smoke when I get to a new place. Then I realize, I don't do that anymore. Nice!
