Conscientious Stupidity
While thinking about what to post today, I ran across that quote from Doctor King. Seemed pretty apropos to any number of things going on in the world today. All the way from the macro (out there) down to the micro (in here, i.e. my little piece of the planet.) Like Ron White said, "You can't fix stupid." Or as Ben Franklin put it...
I see a lot of people, every day, working very, very hard. Sigh...
What? Huh? I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteAre you being sincere or conscientious?
Delete;-)
Ignorance as a valid point of view.
ReplyDeleteIt can be.
DeleteAnd that can be scary.
There's another quote, too: "Stupid is as stupid does."
ReplyDeleteThank you Forrest, er, I mean Buck.
Delete:-P
That was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI remember watching General Honore tell the press in NOLA that they were stuck on stupid.
Thanks Cap'n.
DeleteAh yes, that clip lives on in YouTube land. Good stuff.
