4th of July and Patriotic Trivia




Sarge is a bit busy this weekend so I'll be handling the blogging duties this Holiday for a couple days.  I heard a short quiz on the radio titled Patriotic Trivia and I was 0 for 5.  They were seemingly easy questions so I thought I'd try to play stump the chump here on the Chant.

  5. 2c. Actually Nathan Hale is credited with "I have but one life to give for my country." He has a memorial at CIA Headquarters. 10d. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on 4 Jul 1826. James Monroe died on 4 Jul 1831.

  6. Two bonus extra credit points to Dave. I kluged this post together at 10PM on Thursday night, posting at midnight so I'll apologize and blame my errors on fatigue and over-reliance on my faulty memory. That's what I get for trying to help Sarge with quality content. I guess I'll have to keep my part-time status for a while longer as I'm clearly not ready to go pro.
