    1. The pistol rain/stock pond is now closed. No standing water, but MUD!

    1. We may, God willing, get a second cutting of hay. Been a while since we've been able to do that.

  3. Ah, that reminds me of the Midwest. A "heavy" rain here in south-central Alaska is 1/4" daily for a week, rather than one heavy downpour.

    1. This was a really good rain, Started around 8:30 and kept up until around 4, so I'm hoping most of it soaked in.

  4. Hope it keeps coming. A sad sight seen too often are cow/calf pairs at auction that the ranchers cannot afford to keep feeding hay. Dry land agriculture is not for the faint of heart.

    1. That's been the case here for a few years, so a second cutting would be a nice change.

  5. We had clouds yesterday.
That's the same as no rain here, again.

    1. I hear you. Been that way here for quite a while. But green sure is a pretty color.

  6. It hit us first and blew eastward... but we didn't get 10% of what YOU got.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
Can't be nice, go somewhere else...
