Down Day, Catching Up on My Reading
One of my very favorite authors, Bernard Cornwell. I'm reading this for perhaps the fourth time. You will please excuse me, for I find myself on the edge of a muddy field in France.
The knights of France and Burgundy have begun to stir. King Harry is about to ride the line... The day of battle is upon us!
I haven't met a Bernard Cornwell novel that I didn't like.
He's come out with a non-fiction book on Waterloo. While I know there have been hundreds of books written about the battle (and I have read many of them), Cornwell's take on it will be interesting.
Good Novel. Read it a few years ago.
