Sea and Sky, Hornet Ball 2015
Screen Capture
There is a beauty here, unrivaled by anything we normal folk see in our daily travels. Sea and sky, the magnificence of the sea, the beauty of flight. And yes Virginia, if you were paying attention and you looked closely, you did see a Phantom!
Two of the kids get paid to do this.
Am I jealous?
You betcha!
Well, I think I saw you in the opening sequence. Standing by the Hornet with the radome open.
"Two of the kids get paid to do this."
Pretty sure this statement is in error. If they are like me, they got paid when they needed to come aboard with the weather at minimums and the jet in less than optimal condition. Flying sequences like these is reward and unfortunately ends way too soon.
