Travel Day

It was an incredible weekend.
Aircraft carriers.
Aircraft. Old aircraft. Phantoms. Corsairs. Me-109s. P-51s. And more.
Old British frigates.
The Star of India.
USS Dolphin.
Great Italian food.
Great Mexican food.
Great seafood.
Shakespeare's.
Now it's back to the real world.
Gotta pay the bills somehow.
Many pictures taken.
A great story or three.
Family.
What it's all about.

    1. Sigh...

I hear the crack of the whip and feel the bite of the New England cold.

No really, it's good to be back

    1. Oh. My. Word.

Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill was incredible. Had lunch there, then strolled up the street for a Guinness at Shakespeare's. For to honor the memory of an incredible man.

Reports are forthcoming, just need to roust the staff out of their comfortable ways. (I swear if I leave them alone for a minute...)

    2. India street is one of my favorite places in all the wide world. I'm sitting here drooling, thinking about the last lunch I had at Blue Water, a plate of oysters followed by a plate of grilled mahi fish tacos washed down with an appropriate quantity of ice cold local cerveza. That's a dang pleasant memory to play with after a moderately frustrating but nonetheless fruitful day in cold, snowy January Nebrasky. Muchas gracias por la pronta memoria, mi amigo! You and your staff do more good than you know. :)

    1. PS: They originally started out with twin canted skis, then switched to a single center-line ski, iirc. Yup, Wiki has all the scoop..

    2. The one in front of the museum has dual skis.

I only have two pictures of it. What was I thinking?

    1. I tried. Found something you should find amusing.

Over the next few days examine the photos closely...

It was a bit of a bummer not seeing any of the Sandy Eggo crew but it was a very busy weekend. To say the least...
