Well, I Thought It Was Funny

(Source)
I like Mark Wahlberg, I like his movies, I like his accent.

His best line in a movie, goes something like this...

Well, I thought it was funny.

On a side note, I'm easing back into the blogging thing, slowly. It's driving my Muse crazy, she has all these ideas for posts and I keep telling her, "Meh, maybe tomorrow."

Payback man.

  1. Movie accents. Sean Connery's Russian/Scot accent in "The Hunt For Red October," and Adam Baldwin's "Some things in here don't react well to bullets" mocking of Connery's accent in the same film.

    1. ប្រាប់សាលារៀនស្រុករបស់អ្នកថាអ្នកបានសម្រេចចិត្តរៀនភាសាខ្មែរ។

Khmer, for those who want to know. Cool looking characters, neh?

As to the dual language thing, I think learning a second language is interesting. But is this so little Juanita doesn't have to learn English?

    2. Sí, señor, por supuesto y ese es el problema.

And, after translating the Khmer, I'm going to reiterate my initial comment. You are a funny, funny man!

  3. I can't claim to have seen all of his movies but I've seen a lot of them and have not seen one that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I like Marky Mark and I like that he's not a Hollywood leftist! Not too sure about his accent though. ;-)

    1. The accent is pretty authentic actually. Mark's from Dorchester, which lies just to the south of Southie.

    2. I figured it was pretty accurate knowing where he is from, it just needs a little midwestern twang to sound good to an old redneck!!

    1. Well she kinda deserves it. She's left me hanging more than once.

  6. I must be really slow today ( ok, most days ), I'm not following/understanding most/any of this. Anyway, thanks for the post. I'll try again later and maybe I'll do better.

    1. It all stems from the YouTube video. And, as usual, runs rapidly downhill from there.

    2. Paul - Not all of my posts make sense. Trust me, sometimes there is no hidden meaning. (Sometimes?)

    3. Like Juvat said, ya gotta watch the video. Always watch the video.

    4. Well, I watched the video again. Still don't understand; but then I haven't watched any of Mark Wahlberg's movies. Just an OLD stick in the mud, that's me.

    5. Ah, seeing the movie would help.
