My computer is 6, Beans. The iPad is 4 and my iPhone is an iPhone 7. All stoneaged in this digital era. So....get back on that newfangled laptop and get something posted. Sarge is off the net and I'm raiding his you know what. I hope he's got good Single Malt Scotch there.

DeleteHow did a couple of drunk guys with cameras get on the runway? I thought Air Force security was tough? Those guys are falling down like sailors waiting for the liberty boat back to the ship.
ReplyDeleteI think the guy on the left took a dive. I think the guy on the right got assistance into the prone position. I strongly doubt that pass began from a takeoff roll, so I'd estimate about 450-500K. Lots of air being moved out of the way.
DeleteAs to AF security being tough? Got nothing good to say. But then, that was before three wars. Maybe they've gotten better/more serious. One hopes.
Judging from the size of their lenses, they are either proish amateurs or were based in Korea or Japan and had fun at the local establishments buying things without the huge markups over here in the states (everyone I ever knew that was posted in Asia always came back with a metric boatload of stereo gear and camera stuff, especially if they were either TDY or were bachelors when posted.)

DeleteWeddings can be great fun. Pretty people, open bar, close familial get-togethers, open bar, commitment demonstrated, open bar, dinner and dancing on the open bar. Raw eggs, tomato juice, tabasco and gin from the open bar. What could possibly go wrong?
