No sleep was to be had Tuesday night, there was no comfortable position with that pain flaring up.
Yup, my old friend diverticulitis has apparently returned.
Spent most of the day at my Doctor's office, many tests, much blood work (I feel like a pin cushion), then it was off to get a CAT scan...
Alright, alright, a "CT scan."
Where many holes were punched in Yours Truly in order to inject the contrast. Yeah, that was fun.
Like the lady at the CT scan said, "Man, if you keep this up, they won't be able to call you semi-colon. You're running out of gut my friend!"
A kind word or two directed skywards would be much appreciated.

I am sending my best thoughts and wishes your way Chris. Get better soon. I also had the joy of a diverticulitis attack, so I have some idea of what you are going through. Stay strong, my friend.

DeleteSorry to hear about your recurring problem. You have been added to the daily and nightly skyward routine. Now if you could reciprocate, as I am sure you will, I would really appreciate it. I had been having severe stomach pains, heartburn and "indigestion" off and on for a couple weeks. Usually it would go away after a while, but on March 12th it didn't, so I had the lovely missus take me to the hospital thinking I had an ulcer or something. Within the hour I was in surgery having a stent installed to relieve a 90% blockage in a coronary artery. Didn't see that one coming...................
