How My Week is Going ...

(Source)
I was working on the next installment in the series when I completely ran out of gas ...

The Missus Herself is temporarily deployed to The Nuke's house, but she's back today ...

In the middle of the night ...

Of course ...

On the bright side I get to help clean the pond!

Oh. Wait.

That's work.

I gave the Muse the rest of the day off, even she was tired of my "getting too old for this" schtick.

I'll be back ...

I need a nap.

(Source)
Uh, sure, that'll work.

Until next time ...

  1. Nae worries, Sarge. Come back "tanned, tested and ready" - the Muse too. We'll be here, standing easy.

  2. With the price of gas such as it is...........:) Naps are good, big fan of them myself, especially the ones that arrive unannounced ....(d'oh!) Do what you gotta do Sarge, ain't no pitchforks around here. I like those photos.

    1. True dat.

My "naps" often turn into 8-hour affairs lately.

    2. (Don McCollor)...There is nothing more pleasurable than a premediated nap after a large lunch on a cold rainy day (especially with s warm kitty snuggling close)...

  3. We will still be here, whenever you or your fellow conspirators feel like sharing some thoughts on anything at all. We are not too picky about our steady diet of "free stuff."
Thank you VERY much for what you provide.

    1. I will finish the post I started, just couldn't stay awake any longer last night.

  4. "Yay, I get to participate...wait, I am doing what?"

I hope the flight for The Missus goes well. The only thing more depressing than arriving late is the arrival itself and then the drive home (and then, if you are me, the compulsive unpacking immediately afterwards....)

    1. We always leave the unpacking until the next day, it just makes things more relaxed.

  5. I guess I'm fortunate that there aren't any middle of the night flights in San Diego due to noise abatement rules, otherwise the Navy would surely be guying those cheap-a$$ flights. Travel regs don't seem to care about layovers, long delays, or sleep.

    1. Yeah, the red-eyes to the East Coast leave fairly early out of SAN. They get here usually the next day, early in the morning. Depending on layovers, of course.

  6. Take whatever time you need. We'll be here...Waiting....Patiently...Sort of!

    You know who.

  7. Happily waiting. Scratching my head over the paths possibly taken to the stair -?- wall junction. Guffaws at the UK 911 phone. I advocated for 123 (or 321) back when it competed with 999 and 911 because those were six pulse times rather than 18 or 11. Touch-pulse was a thing in the Bell Labs and some of their "pets".

  8. Post Covid seems to require more napping. Actually, that’s what they say!

    1. D4 #2 - Blogger has driven many to anonymity this week. The rest to distraction or worse!

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
