The musings, rants, and dissertations of three retired military guys. Two Air Force, one Navy. The Old AF Sarge, Juvat, and Tuna.
That is a remarkable video. Not only do they appear to be quite proficient at putting warheads on foreheads, but they also appear to be building their own aircraft.
Heh. They do it all.I actually like this one a little better than some of the others. It shows the guys and gals who maintain 'em and show the jets being built as well. It's all one team.
Thanks for the video. Very educational.Paul L. Quandt
Jets. Always fun.
Wonder if the haze gray Mirages belong to the French Air Force or Navy?Cool video. Good thing we didn't have go pros bitd. The Navy would have been cancelled. :)
Hahaha!You're probably right!
There would definitely have been some embarrassment... for surface as well as brown shoes.
I'm just thankful that cellphones weren't around when I was on active duty! The Peruvians operate the Mirage, all the flying footage is (I believe) is West Coast/Pacific.
Ahh! The Peruvians. Didn't even know they had an air force. Bit of first-world hubris there. Looks like they've got a real eclectic mix of aircraft. Bet it's fun being an enlisted maintainer!
When Big Time did a cruise in that part of the world, I do believe our guys went flying with the Peruvians. I have pictures, somewhere...
Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
