| Not the destination, just part of the route ... Source |
'Tis time to go on a vacation - salt water, sea breezes whispering through the pines, sand, seagulls ...
Ah.
I am on a permanent vacation but the place we're going has no lawn and a magnificent view of Chesapeake Bay.
Hey, these guys are retired too!
Blogging could be sparse, who knows?
Enjoy yourselves and try not to empty the liquor cabinet.
And if you do?
Oh well ...
Ciao!

Have fun Sarge!
ReplyDeleteWill do!
DeleteSafe travels Sarge!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fine song.
I had the album on cassette. So it's an old album.
DeleteThat last photo puts me in mind of Torrey Pines. Nice to see you making good use of your retirement. May St. Christopher watch over you.
ReplyDeleteRetirement should be savored!
DeleteThe destination is worth the perils and annoyances of the journey.
ReplyDeleteVacation well, you've earned it.
Thanks for the photo of NYC, a sight I will drive 100 miles more to avoid!
JB
The drive wasn't too bad. I've done it so many times now that I'm used to it.
DeleteThanks!
the traffic is so unbelievably light, I can't believe it's NYC (East River Drive?); what's the time, 0530?
ReplyDeleteDidn't look like that at noon, I can tell you!
DeleteEnjoy!
ReplyDeleteRoger, Wilco!
DeleteSo what's playing on those long drives?
ReplyDeleteEvanescence, Fall Out Boy, Rush, Foo Fighters, and others as the mood strikes.
DeleteWe have SiriusXM and Road Trip Radio has the best stuff for us. Although Yacht Rock is a major player as well.
DeleteFor me it's CDs.
