I Grieve...

Our family has suffered a loss...

The words just aren't there...

It's a long story, and not a simple one.

I may not speak of it again ever.

I don't know.

My son and his tribe need your prayers, the Lord knows why, you needn't know specifics.

My oldest child grieves, so do I.

I will say no more...

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

  1. Prayers sent Sarge.

  2. Whatever the source of pain, may God provide comfort and blessings on you and your tribe

  3. Hey AFSarge;

Prayers to you and yours from me and mine, "May God Grant the Peace and serenity to bear the burden that you must bear, and the path that you must walk."

  4. Lost a brother and sister over 50 years ago, and it's still hard to talk about.
But, over time, the good memories overtake the bad memory.
Hang in there, and keep praying.

  5. God knows and He is there. I will add my voice to those who pray for His comfort to be given to you and yours in this time of need.

  6. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May the peace of the Lord comfort you.

  7. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Remember, God gives us our memories so we may have flowers in the winter. - Brigid

  8. Sending thoughts and prayers, and lots of warm loving hugs to help you and your tribe through this valley of pain and suffering. We will be here when you can get back, but family comes first.

  9. With you folks in thoughts and prayers.

  10. Chris, my prayers for you and your family. Greg

  11. Sorry to hear. Thoughts and payers for you and yours..

  12. Prayers ( and I am not real good at those) enroute. Very sorry for your loss.

  13. So sorry. May you all be surrounded by his love.

  14. I understand having a hole in your heart that does not heal. They (whoever "they" is) say that time heals but it really doesn't. You learn to cope, but you never forget and never stop missing. Nobody can fix it, but prayer helps you reconcile yourself to the situation and that is my prayer for you today.

  15. Sarge, so sorry to hear of your family loss. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones.

  16. When or if you're ready to talk, our broad shoulders are here to help you grieve. We're here even if you don't talk. We're here for you.

We hold you and your clan in our hearts.

  17. Life is change, change is life. Change is inevitable, but sometimes it's HARD to bear. God bless you and your family, may you find the support you need.

  18. Prayers and deep condolences. May you all find the strength to confront your loss. Mark

  19. Prayer offered for your family to get through such sorrow.

  20. Prayers sent, Sarge, for you and yours. May the Lord send much comfort to all.

  21. Prayers and deepest sympathy sent, Sarge.

May God be with you in your time of great need.....

  22. Terribly sorry for whatever it is that has brought on a need to grieve. I have added you and the Naviguessers to my prayer list. My best to you and yours.

  23. Thanks everyone.

Your thoughts and prayers mean a lot.

  24. So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers and hugs.

  25. We prayed "It's curious Lord, these people we somehow love, comfort them in their pain. These people we somehow know and yet don't, help them through this time. These folks we laugh and cry with, let us cry with them now. In the name of the Son, Amen."

  26. Prayers up for your entire family. Any loss is heartbreaking, a sudden one even worse, and a young member the hardest of all to comprehend and accept. We many never understand such things. May God bless you all.
    John Blackshoe

  27. I wish I knew words that would bring comfort.

  28. I don't know anything that eases grief except time and even that just lessens it somewhat. But your son and you
and your family will receive our prayers every day!

  29. I've been away and unconnected, so I am just now reading this.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
