Travelin'.
Livin' large.
And other activities which require that one or more letters be dropped and replaced with an apostrophe.
Which, by the way, is a most oddly spelled word.
Apostrophe that is.
Or can it be replaced by just '?
Just wonderin'.
Heh.
Yes, I am going on vacation so posting may be light to non-existent on some days. Maybe even most days.
I dunno yet.
But I shall think of you while I'm enjoying myself.
No, really, I will.
By the time most of you read this I'll be in the air. Or landed. Or taking a nap. Or...
Never mind.
Suffice to say, departure is scheduled for a most ungodly hour of the day.
Though upon arrival at our destination we'll have the whole day to enjoy.
Or nap.
We'll see how it goes.
Ciao!
Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteRoger that.
DeleteWell, have fun and be careful in the DC area. As Obi-Wan Kenobi said " You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious." Some people thought he said it about Mos Eisely spaceport, but he first said it about DC.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there are places I avoid here. But there are many things to do here which don't require interactions with the populace.
DeleteAs to the wretched hive of scum and villainy, I wont be back at work until the 18th.
Oh, wait...
It should be the other way around. In other words, the scum and villainy should be afraid of the fact that the Man is coming to town.
DeleteNo doubt they are. But they are many and wily, and they cheat. An honorable man like the Sarge will ultimately triumph, but the struggle will be stuff ballads will be written about.
DeleteHhmm, I could fancy a ballad.
DeleteI know what you mean c w.
DeleteSomeday rationality and sanity will return.
Well, wherever the hell you're going, and whatever the hell you're doing there, jave fun!
ReplyDelete(I was going to correct that spelling, but then I thought, "Maybe he's going to Mexico!")
Jajaja.
DeleteThat's laughter in Spanish. Seriously.
I was never a big Seinfeld fan, but Kramer had a line that seems to be appropriate here: In my mind...I'm already gone!
ReplyDeleteHeh, good line!
DeleteYou didn't route your leave chit through the front office so you will have to make up the hours when you get back. I'll see if I can pick up some slack.
ReplyDeleteBut I gave it to the guy who claimed to be the YN1!
