On the Road Again... (Not a war story)

Young Robbie
Born 13 August 2020 @ 1511

Unless the lads (or The WSO, who am I kidding) step in, things will be relatively quiet here for the next few days.

I'm on the road to points south today in order to meet and greet that little fellow in the pictures above. He's the first child of Tuttle and The Nuke and my sixth grandchild, second grandson. The oldest is a boy, now the youngest is as well.

Matching bookends for the lovely granddaughters in between.

Read those folks on the side bar and talk quietly among yourselves.

Go check out The Fiction of the Chant and let me know what you think. Note that some of the characters from Panzer 413 - The Battle of the Bulge have already appeared in The D-Day Series. The Yanks from Panzer 413 will be introduced in the current "To the Rhine" Series shortly.

Be back when I'm back...

  2. Drive safely and activate the vehicle's anti-idiot force field. You will be dangerously close to DC.
It isn't just Mos Eisley Spaceport that fits the description, "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."

    Enjoy the visit.

    1. It's amazing how many places that fit that description. New York City, Detroit, Warschingtun DuhCee, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Austin, New Orleans, Dade-Broward County, etc...

Wonder what they all have in common? Hmmmmmm...

    1. Places like that also fit the other Quote: "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

  6. One of the greatest joys in life is greeting a new grandchild. Congratulations to Mom and Dad, and to you and your bride. Our slim claim to immortality is manifested in our children and grandchildren.
