A Quick Note

Granddog Bear is so excited...

Well actually, she and her sister Kodi were pretty excited when The Missus Herself and Your Humble Scribe touched down in Maryland on Tuesday, 22 December, at approximately 1615 local time.

We're visiting The Nuke and her tribe for Christmas. It's gonna be fun!

Regular posting will resume on Thursday, as for myself...

Time for a Guinness, then a long nap.

Be well.

Cheers!

    1. Actually missed the Guinness opportunity. The Nuke made pasta, had a very nice claret to go with it. More then one...

    2. Must have been a VERY good claret for you to have forsaken the healing power of "And". Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to ALCON.

  3. Enjoy your R&R time. I fear things will get sporty in the future, story-wise and in real time... The calm before....

    1. The story, I can guarantee. The future?

      I fear for my country.

    1. Thank you, Toirdhealbheach Beucail. You're right of course. While I have a fear for the future, I also have faith.

      That keeps me going.

May you and yours have a wonderful Christmas.

  6. But... but... but... I thought the cloud cover didn't clear until Christmas...

Was wondering when you were making the pilgrimage, and to which coast. Enjoy the family time. And the dark chewy liquid stuff.

  7. Nothing like recharging with a couple of generations of family, particularly this time of year.

  9. Visiting the Nuke and her Tribe?" Like others this Christmas season, we too are traveling a long distance to see a new baby- in our case it's Mindi's niece's son who will be visiting her mother. Due to covid, the new mom doesn't want anyone to touch him, which sucks, but it will still be good to be around something joyful.

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
