It's that day! I was wondering how you were going to deal with it on the blog... I like it! Best wishes, fingers crossed, prayers, hope & positive thoughts for you'all this middle Monday, a couple of handfulls of days before Christmas...
Radar is locked got a nice tone from the heater ( IR missile). The Y in Austin to Bastrop was pretty stacked up. But we’re very close to the latter. Thank You, Lord!! juvat
Congrats on keeping on schedule for he move despite all the "interesting" interruptions. It's always tough, but has to be more so when you are leaving Rancho Juvat built to your specs, under your supervision and enjoyed for so many years. When it's just hauling your stuff out of one set of nondescript government quarters to another, there is not a lot of sentimental attachment. But, now, going into temp quarters and about to repeat the "build your dream home" process it is a real adventure. But, probably still a pain in the butkus.
Onward, adventures ahead! Give the critters (all of them) an extra hug and treat, it's bewildering for them since they are not privy to your big plans. JB
Don't ya just wish you could call a general meeting of all the critters, explain the latest plan to them, promise it will NOT last forever but this move does need to happen today...and all cooperation is appreciated!! And that treats will be bestowed at the end of the ride to reinforce not running away from the new place back to the old place, cause who wants to make THAT ride again?!?!!
Will be sending positive thoughts your way that it all went smoothly...and, if it didn't, well, at least you will have fun material for next week's post.
Some details perhaps?
