I lived in Moore for the first three or four months I was stationed at Tinker. I still have friends in the greater OKC area and they are safe, thank The Deity At Hand.
It's doubly bad for Moore... they were hit HARD a few years ago. I was in OKC about six months after that one and the damage level was just incredible. What's also incredible is the sheer volume of tornadoes that descend on that city. I don't miss that kind of weather, at ALL.

Glad to hear your friends are okay Buck. Yeah, I was reading how hard that area had been hit. Now to have it happen again.

DeleteSo tragic. The stories of the heroes out there are good though- the teachers who saved their students...feel good stories that help soften the blow.
