Family Ties

Grandpa
(Your Humble Scribe)
Dad
(My Son-in-law, Big Time)
Mom
(My Daughter, The WSO)
Daughter
(My Granddaughter, Little Bit)
Now I'm not saying that my oldest granddaughter will someday take to the skies and: slip the surly bonds of earth, and dance the skies on laughter-silvered wings, but it is in her blood.

Just sayin'...

    1. She is a joy. When an F-18 flies over, she always says, "That's Daddy's jet."

    1. Hhhmm, I'll have to check with Big Time and the WSO as to the binkie being SOP in the O mask. That information may be close hold, as in not reveal-able to Air Force personnel.

  5. In the blood, indeed.

Is that a T-6 over your left shoulder? Are you in one, as well?

    1. That indeed a T-6 (in USAF colors) off to port in loose formation. I was actually sitting in an SNJ-6, the US Navy version of the T-6. At this point Buck you may go ahead and chastise me for my choice of aircraft!

My buddy (who was in the T-6) did a 4-year tour in the USAF, he gave me first choice of birds, assuming I'd take the one in USAF livery. He was surprised when I chose the Navy bird.

Retired USAF MSgt, Current US Navy Dad. Gotta love the Navy, they put ALL 3 kids through college. I OWE them!

Just be polite... that's all I ask. (For Buck)
