Exactly! I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he first changed from Don't to Do in the early days of this joyride. Opinion overridden by evidence. However he lost all credibility almost immediately thereafter when that picture of him unmasked at a baseball game became public. Lost credibility is extremely difficult to regain and he's done nothing since to even start regaining trust.
Someday - assuming we survive what has become the collective madness which our society has become - I suspect future historians will look back on these days as the equivalent of the Salem Witch Trials.
"Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, one by one.” - Charles Mackay
Someday, assuming we survive, I suspect future historians will wonder why the United States actually attempted full National Socialism in the way National Socialist Germany did.
Beans, They certainly spew that four letter name around a lot. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" comes to mind. Or the saying from childhood "I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you call me bounces off me and sticks to you."
We were enjoying some outside time yesterday and finding a few Geocaches. I'd wandered into a stand of bamboo and as I stood there the thought struck me that with the addition of an adult beverage I would have been, wait, bamboozled.
I stopped trusting experts, media, and the government quite some time ago.
Specific details will result in an unhealthy spike in my blood pressure.
Damn you juvat! You just HAD to get my "corpsuckles" boiling this AM. I should've stuck with Sat. morn. cartoons 'cept "wokeness" has ruined them too. ENOUGH of your middle-of-the-nite musings! Don't you know it's always tres dangerous when fighter-pilots (active or ex) try to think!? :)
If you have MEtv in your area, they play the good Saturday cartoons, you know, the ones that deal with classical music and physics experiments. IE: Bugs Bunny and such.
Beans, Is MEtv streamed? We don't have cable, satellite or antenna. If our network connection goes down, we do something really radical and read a book. That having been said, Bugs Bunny and Road Runner are still fav's.
"Don't mask!" "Mask!" Nuff said about that #@&tard......

DeletePoster child for government fecklessness.
ReplyDeleteFecklessness, corruption, criminality, stupidity, arrogance...The list is long, very very long.

DeleteTHBB,
DeleteInteresting quote, and fairly accurate.
Beans,
DeleteThey certainly spew that four letter name around a lot. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" comes to mind. Or the saying from childhood "I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you call me bounces off me and sticks to you."
As the prophet Rahl Emanuel said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste". Cynic me thinks this crisis was manufactured.
ReplyDeleteCynic us, WSF. I'm with you in that belief.

Send that one to Borepatch to add to his Dad Joke collection. :-)
DeleteMy time at Ft Fumble, hastened the rate at which I was losing faith in that group. Nothing I've seen or heard about them since has changed that.
Gotcha on the BP thing.

DeleteVX,
DeleteFighter Pilot's Think? Naw. It's an instantaneous decision. Good Guy/Bad Guy? Hit the trigger or not. Life was simpler then.

My brain hurts.
DeleteMine also...Frequently.
DeleteSuch wit! I love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks STxAR, even if SOME people don't appreciate humor, not to mention any names of course, but see next comment.
Delete@STxAR/
ReplyDeleteRU sure you didn't forget the sarc affix??
What??? Did the LA Governor shut down the NawrLin's gin joints again?
DeleteThis almost belongs under Borepatch's "Dad Jokes."
ReplyDeleteWait...
You are a dad.
By the way, good one. A grain or two or a whole silo full is what makes a joke good.
Thanks, Beans. I regularly borrow (ok, steal) his Dad Jokes and forward them to MBD. Just to hear the groan. It's what makes life worth living.
