A Little Help?

Our Prayers are With You
I mentioned last week (here) of a co-worker of mine who was severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombing. She's to undergo a below the knee amputation, today I believe. Her medical bills are going to be significant. Now and in the future. I don't ordinarily ask folks to donate to anything. I'll make an exception today.

Heather is bright, talented and a pleasure to be around. Let's do what we can. You can go here to donate.

Let's keep her in our prayers as well.

    Damn. I've been so wrapped up in my own stuff that I've missed so much of what others have been going through, and so much of it - almost all of it - worse than anything I'm pitying myself about. You bet I'll make a contribution.

      What's really amazing is that our company is not taking any "official" stance on this effort. Our VP wanted to go big on this and give it company backing. Corporate said "No". Speculation is that lawyers were made nervous. Typical!
