Speaking of My Brothers...

The video above was shot by my brother, The Olde Vermonter. The dog running about is Daisy, the new Chihuahua/Min Pin mix I mentioned the other day. She is the cutest little thing. I'm not completely sure how that deer feels about her though.

Oh yeah, the video was shot in the environs of the ancestral home. Backyard-ish in fact.

And here's why I call my youngest kid brother The Musician.

Little brother has quite a collection of tunes on YouTube, of course I highly recommend that you go watch them.

He used to blog here, but he hasn't updated it in a very long time. And (for those who do such things) his Facebook page is here.

He's a talented guy. I'm not saying that The Olde Vermonter and Yours Truly are not talented guys. The Olde Vermonter's superb skill at carpentry can be seen at The Chester Inn, in Chester, Vermont and in many fine homes throughout the Twin States, I'm sure.

As for me? Hhmm. Good question.

  2. I found myself singing along to yer bro's playin'...

It is the summer of my smiles - flee from me Keepers of the Gloom.
Speak to me only with your eyes. It is to you I give this tune.
Ain't so hard to recognize - These things are clear to all from
    time to time.

Be thankful you weren't there (here).

  3. He's very classical in his style. I'm more like Willie Nelson. My church pushed me into playing some hymns. I was very reluctant. But during AMAZING GRACE, I noticed the minister and secretary giggling and clapping. It was then that I realized I had picked up the tempo, was running riffs, and tapping my foot energetically. The oddest thing happened, and all the congregation (sitting in their seats like they had corncobs surgically inserted) started keeping time to the music. I became their weekly entertainment and loved it.

    1. Oh yes he is.

So do you tour? (We have a lot of those corncob types at my church too!)
