For those in the know, today is our esteemed host's birthday! Let's all wish him a very happy birthday!
Ok, my photo-shop skills leave a lot to be desired. It's my daughter who is The Artist, not me. So, my apologies to Sarge for making him look like a clown, vice wearing a birthday hat. It's better than him in his birthday suit though so quit complaining. Either way, I hope he has a great birthday.

ReplyDeleteThanks STxAR.
DeleteI'm well past the point where a fifty light string of Christmas candle lights would be enough to decorate the cake, and luckily I'm not at the point where turning on the electric candles would cause a city wide blackout.
ReplyDeleteFelix Navy Dad!
Hahaha!
DeleteThanks John.
Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, Sarge! Many happy reruns, eh, returns!

DeleteHappy birthday, Sarge! Mine is next week. So is my wife's. All hail Taurus.
ReplyDeleteTaurus rocks the house!
DeleteExcept for their somewhat shoddy quality control...
DeleteYou were talking about the arms manufacturer, right?
Um no, I always go with Walther.
Delete"Except for their somewhat shoddy quality control..."
DeleteA oui joke, monsieur?
Yes, very wee. Sadly though, correct.
At the indoor gun range I managed, we had a customer who ordered a Taurus PT something-or-other in 9mm. When it came in, he took it out on the range to try out, and immediately started having extraction issues. He brought it out to the counter, where I field stripped and examined it for anything obvious. I picked up the slide and slipped a round onto the breech face to check the extractor tension. Hmmmm. Turned out that while the gun was correctly marked for 9mm, it left the factory with a 40 S&W slide. Yeah, extraction issues.
I concur with Sarge. Walther is top drawer.
Wow, that's definitely a Quality Control issue!
DeleteHappy Birthday Sir!! May you have many more, and may you enjoy this one a great deal!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that is No Bull!!
Thank you very much Suz.
DeleteHad a most excellent meal, prime rib, baked potato and one of Sam Adam's finest. With the most beautiful lady, my wife.
I'm late as usual, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Dear Sarge!
DeleteThanks BC.
DeleteBetter late than never. :)
