Those who study such things, or simply know how to pay attention, knew that this would come. L.A. that is. Like the spoiled brats they are, the Left goes apeshit when they don't get their way.
But like ABC said, it's just folks having fun watching cars burning.
Nero, call your office.
Those who know their history might agree that it's time to "give them a whiff."
Or perhaps a little more precision is required, Peter Grant might be on to something.
Sorry to be so bloody minded today, but this nonsense needs to end.
As for me, I'm glad I'm on vacation, many miles from the effing insanity.
Your mileage may vary.
Be careful out there ...
until they get punched back the craziness will continue. simple. just like little kids, until you whip their ass when they are being unruly, they keep up the mischief.
ReplyDeleteThey perceive that there are no consequences for their actions. They need to be disabused of that notion, pronto.
DeleteThey really do....
DeleteWhich is really the problem.
DeleteA most interesting read this morning Sarge, especially the comments......some outside the box thinkers are out there, especially like the manure cannon.
ReplyDeleteI thought it interesting.
DeleteThis is just a continuation of the civil war that Democrats started in 2016. It took a while for them to regroup, but regroup they did, and this time they continue their rebellion with the overt aid of foreign nationals. Officials of the City and County of Los Angeles stood by and watch the attacks on federal law enforcement officers, even ordered their own officers to stand down just as in the 2016 through 2020 phase, and our Governor, Emperor Newsome failed in his duty to put down the riots. "OH! But it was all so peaceful and perfect before those federal bullies started Orange TACO's ILLEGAL!!!!!! efforts to enforce the law with his Gestapo---all of them the J6ers he pardoned!" Yeah, right.
ReplyDeleteComes down to the people like Newsom thinking they are above the law and wanting to keep their slaves.
You're correct, Joe. Things were working just fine for the left until we pesky People elected someone who loves our Republic and has the courage to carry out his duties to us. This time he has a talented bunch of folks to assist him on our behalf, with no quislings yet identified.
DeleteI haven't read Peter's piece yet but I'm sure it's high quality and well worth heading over.
As for a "whiff of grape" there are many effective remedies yet between those ineffectual ( thus far) from the vichy government of CA and the carnage that may yet be necessary. A friend specialized in such with NYPD before that entity became compromised and has shared some recommendations with me.
Wishing I was young and fit enough to go back to the colors, but I'll just have to stand fast on my own little patch.
Boat Guy
Joe - Concur.
DeleteBG - There may be other remedies, but personally I think it will come down to violent action, it's the only way those bastards understand.
DeleteAgree, Sarge. I, for one, would be delighted to contribute to the "FO" part of the equation should an appropriate time/venue present itself.
DeleteBG
I'd volunteer.
DeleteAs Ole Remus said, "Stay away from crowds and stay away from stupid people doing stupid things".
ReplyDeletePower struggles of the elites using useful idiots is very historical.
It's the civilians that get hurt the most.
Be careful out there is good advice.
When the idiots are rampaging it's best to stay clear.
DeleteSarge, I do like Michael's suggestion at BRM's site of going after the financiers of this. These people do not work for free. Stop the source and the river dries up.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I wish folks fully understood what they are invoking by this kind of behavior. Everyone, everywhere, for the history of mankind always goes forward with violence thinking that they will have the upper hand. Sadly, history usually shows only one side "wins" - and that winning can itself be a hollow victory. Being in charge of a burned out, destroyed, depopulated, de-energized society makes one the winner of nothing worth having.
Very true. And always follow the money.
DeleteThe LA Police chief pointed out the hard core rioters are outsiders who show up across the country. Who is funding them? Follow the money and nail those funding the anarchists. Start with who paid for pallets of cinder blocks dropped on city streets in the early morning hours.
ReplyDeleteWSF, it's been the same story since the '60s, "OH! 'WE' aren't violent! It's just a few Outside Agitators who are causing trouble! WE don't want them!" Right. Supposedly only a handful, but somehow their mob of thousands can't stop the "handful of Outside Agitators." Those Sturmabteilung are part of the mob, using the mob for concealment to get into position, work their violence and get the mob involved, and then melt back into it. If the 90% of the mob were truly peaceful and non-violent they could easily subdue the violent few and hand them over to law enforcement. But somehow that almost never happens. We saw it over and over in the first phase of this civil war with the Antifa Sturmabteilung being allowed to hide in the mob, pull their weapons from their packs, don their black masks and hoodies, and attack police, overturn police vehicles, set fires, etc. The BLM Red Guards made no bones about being nothing but a violent action arm of the left.
DeleteFollow the money is always good advice. Of course we had no luck doing that during the summer of the "mostly peaceful demonstrations" in trying to find out who was having pallets of bricks delivered the day before the "spontaneous" demonstrations started.
DeleteIt's tough getting the word out when the media is controlled by the side doing the rioting.
WSF - Follow the money, cut off their logistics, the movement will wither on the vine.
DeleteJoe - You're missing the point. It isn't outside agitators, it's outside paymasters. Cut their logistical support, they'll go home, those that don't? It's why we have Marines.
DeleteRob - We had no luck because DC was in collusion with the scum.
DeleteOh, I'm not missing the point about the financial side, Sarge, I'm just saying that the left has been using the same playbook for over half a century.
DeleteA person i know both real life, well, Civil War reenacting, and FB wrote off every riot as "there's a few idiots in every crowd," refusin to see the consistent, organized, and coordinated violence by leftists, but then condemn all conservatives for the very rare incidents of random violence by a few fringe outliers.
Without the money, these things dry up pretty quickly. These punks won't do jail time (or worse) for someone else's cause.
DeleteBut they’re peeeaceful prooootests! Kumbaya!
ReplyDeleteI surely hope you're being sarcastic.
DeleteI am, indeed.
DeleteLol
DeleteAccording to Maxine Waters (D- CA 43), all the riots are peaceful and nonviolent because nobody has been shot.
DeleteIn her defense, she is a f**cking idiot.
Delete24-48 hours of selectively shutting down cell phone service could do wonders to the situation...
ReplyDeleteThat would be a temporary fix, need to find the head of the serpent.
DeleteSoros. He just likes to watch the world burn.
DeleteHe's a left wing socialist world government wannabe dictator asshole.
DeleteSarge, stop minceing words and tell us what you really think about Soros!
DeleteYup, I despise that fellow.
DeleteOne of the BBFN's of the world. Also, a commie libturd.
DeleteHeltau
Military force squashing (and deservedly so) riotous behavior is a long and healthy tradition for a civilized Republic.
ReplyDeletePaid agitators and gullible simpletons have long been a menace, and the National Guard and regular forces have a long history of solving those ugly disputes. Sometimes with a mere show of force, other times with serious bloodshed.
Just a few examples in no particular order-
Whiskey Rebellion 1791-1794- "Washington's forceful response to the Whiskey Rebellion was due to the belief that the rebellion posed a direct threat to the authority of the newly formed federal government and the stability of the nation. He feared that if left unchecked, it could lead to a larger rebellion and a potential breakup of the Union. By demonstrating the government's ability to enforce its laws, Washington hoped to solidify the Constitution and establish a precedent for future governance."
Little Rock 1957
1992 Rodney King riots, LA
1968 Democrat national convention in Chicago
Shay's Rebellion in Massachusetts 1787-1788
John Brown raid on Harpers Ferry Armory (put down by U.S. Marines under command of Army Col. Robert E. Lee)
1967-68 various race riots
New York draft riots during the Civil War 1863
Louisiana election disputes 1876
Colorado "Ludlow massacre" 1914 mining strike
Cox Bonus Army march Washington 1932
Pullman riots Chicago 1894
Kent State 1970
Homestead Steel strike 1892
Cambridge MD (near Sarge's secret bunker) desegregation riots 1963
West Virginia miner strike 1921- "Battle of Blair Mountain" (over a million rounds fired, Air Corp bombers deployed, etc)
I bet you see none of these mentioned in the leftist propaganda outlets over the next few weeks.
Our nation is based on the rule of law, which requires a foundation of laws being enforced.
While a punk with a brick or firebomb is an immediate threat, provocateurs are the more serious threat, and they must be ruthlessly pursued by every legal means and their funding, communications, logistics and support networks destroyed. Especially those funded by tax dollars in any way.
John Blackshoe
Amen.
DeleteI would hold.Shay's out of consideration, Brother Blackshoe. If you look at the conditions around it and the causes thereof, you might find that those rebelled against were as corrupt as any example you care to find.
DeleteBG
Yup.
DeleteGotta also admit to some sympathy for the Bonus Marchers; they needed the promised money and IIRC were willing to accept a discounted amount in exchange for expedited payout. The methods used against them by MacArthur & Co were pretty harsh in spots.
DeleteBG
One of the reasons I don't care for MacArthur.
DeleteJB, may I steal this to post on the FB of my various elected representatives?
DeleteA comment that I saw on FB, "I like California the way I like my tea, with lots of ICE."
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteRegarding paymasters, did anyone catch that the Mexican president is threatening military action against the US if the US taxes money going from the US to Mexico, you know the money generated by all those illegal aliens who are shipping, from one report I saw, enough money to make up around 25% of the GDP of Mexico? I saw it and then it quickly disappeared.
ReplyDeleteEven worse, it happened at the same time as the riots got good and violent. Coincidence? Or... the whole thing, riots, Mexican presidential announcement, is a direct attack against the US. Which means the rioters are enemy combatants or agents of a foreign government, all not wearing uniforms, which makes them, according to the Rules of War, eligible for being shot or hung or any other variation of Ending Life that the captors wish to use.
I wonder when it will be time to cancel California's statehood and make it a territory again? Or if we're looking at the Mexican-American War, Part Deux?
This, this is how you get Mexico curbstomped. And how you get rioters shot.
And, of course, why a Garand or M14 with bayonet would be excellent as crowd deterent.
I did see the Mexican president's idiotic statement. In the old days the Marines would be landing in Veracruz right about now.
DeleteUse cell phone GPS data to go round up the protesters. Deport all non-citizens. Those that are citizens should get free room and board at a federal institution.
ReplyDeleteThat can be turned off, but it's a good idea.
DeleteI hope that the Marines are bringing ammo to this little dust up in la. It would help in slowing down or even stopping the libturds that are doing the destruction.
